First the beans grow on trees for 6 months, then are collected by farmers. After coco are collected they are separated into pods and the powder inside them. The powder is covered for 5-7 days. Then the powder is left in the sun for 6 days. Then the cocoa is collected and put into factories. Then the cocoa beans are crushed and split up into cocoa powder and cocoa butter. The shells are mashed up into cocoa liquor to be used later. Then they use cocoa liquor, cocoa butter , milk powder and sugar in a process called conching witch gives the chocolate its smooth brown look.
